My name is Kayleen Smith and I am a qualified Personal Trainer.

My journey over the past three years has taken me from being midly active and overweight to now having the energy to do anything I choose to including completing a number of half marathons. My experience has proven you can do anything you put your mind to. I am a mother and grandmother but feel like a 40 year old again.

Last year I completed my personal training qualifications as my passion is to help people to improve their activity and health so they can also enjoy a higher quality of life as they age.

I operate out of a home based studio in Hobsonville Point and would feel privileged to have the opportunity to help you.

Personal Training

Personal Training – providing 1:1 training personalized to your individual goals and abilities.

A personal training session is just that, about you. I start with a full consultation to enable me to get to know you fully. This covers a number of areas including health, previous exercise experience and most importantly your goals.

A personalized programme is developed for you which is facilitated with me on a regular basis e.g. 2-3 sessions per week. The programme is adjusted as you progress to enable us to work towards your short and then long-term goals.

The focus is on sustainable change as this ensures we attain improvements which last over time. That means you may not see fast results rather small incremental changes which stay changed.

(In some circumstances it is possible to have personal training completed in pairs. Please enquire if this is of interest)

Group sessions

Group sessions are a fun way of being able to exercise with others. I currently run the following sessions in a park environment.

Monday – 7.15pm – 8pm

Men’s bootcamp – targeted at those who have minimal experience with resistance exercise. Small circuit based exercises focused on improving the strength of large muscle groups, core strengthening, balance and flexibility.

Wednesday – 7 – 7.45pm

Ladies bootcamp – circuit based for all levels.  Targeted at overall fitness covering core strength, flexibility, cardio and muscular endurance.

Pricing for bootcamps:

Single session – $17.00

Concession cards:

– 5 session $70.00 (valid for 6 weeks)

– 10 session $130.00 (valid for 12 weeks)

60 Day Challenge – next session to be confirmed

This challenge is open to busy yet committed women who are ready to finally stop the diet cycle and increase their energy and fitness in the next 60 days.

NB: Participants are required to complete a questionnaire to ascertain they are capable of attending bootcamp sessions. The trainer reserves the right to refuse attendance if deemed unsafe for a participant.busy yet committed
